Embed an example
The examples and the playground in other sites, running: paste the link in WordPress, Ghost, Notion or Medium, or write the frame yourself.
The examples, the playground and the first page of https://gpuslider.com can be shown in other sites, running: paste the link, and the site asks gpuslider.com for a frame by oEmbed. This shows the examples of the site; a slider of your own pictures is made with the library, as above.
- WordPress and Ghost: paste the link on a line of its own, or into the Embed block or card.
- Notion and Medium: through Iframely and Embedly, once they list gpuslider.com. Until then a card with the picture.
- Anywhere else: a frame of your own.
<iframe src="https://gpuslider.com/examples/reveal/" width="800" height="450"
style="border:0;width:100%;max-width:800px;height:auto;aspect-ratio:800/450"
allow="autoplay; fullscreen" loading="lazy" title="Reveal · gpu slider"></iframe>
What an example is set to goes with its link: https://gpuslider.com/examples/echo/?frames=6 is Echo with six frames, in the frame too.
The endpoint is https://gpuslider.com/oembed?url=<link>, in JSON, with maxwidth and maxheight. A frame is 800 by 450, and 800 by 600 for the examples that are scrolled (Reel, Orbit, Fold, Tape, Wave); it is as wide as the column up to that, at the same proportion. In a frame, the links open a tab of their own. The docs are not embedded: they are read here, or as Markdown.
